This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven professional who thrives in a high-quality, design-led environment and is looking to play a key role in delivering complex, high-value developments.
The Senior QS will take a leading role in managing the commercial aspects of a high-end project from pre-construction through to completion. You will work closely with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead cost planning, procurement, and commercial management
- Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and cash flows
- Evaluate tender submissions and negotiate contracts
- Oversee valuations, variations, and final accounts
- Provide strategic commercial advice to clients and stakeholders
- Mentor and support junior team members where required
- 5+ years Quantity Surveying experience within the commercial sector
- Strong knowledge of JCT contracts and cost control
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
- MRICS or working towards chartership
- Salary up to £75,000 (depending on experience)
- Hybrid working with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home
