• Prepare accurate site budget estimates, cash flow forecasts, and monthly valuation reports (CVRs).
• Procure subcontractors, negotiate rates, and issue robust trade packages.
• Manage subcontractor payments, variations, and resolve any contractual disputes efficiently.
• Conduct regular site visits across the Stirling region to monitor progress and verify valuations.
• Mentor and support assistant or trainee surveyors within the regional team, using both face-to-face and virtual coaching methods.
Key Requirements
• A proven track record as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor specifically within the private housebuilding sector.
• Prior experience working with a well-known, high-volume, or premium regional housebuilder is highly preferred.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage commercial deliverables effectively within a hybrid, trust-based environment.
• Comprehensive knowledge of UK building regulations, housing specifications, and standard forms of contract relevant to Scottish residential development.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and commercial management skills.
• Valid UK driving licence, as travel to sites across the central Scotland region will be required.
• Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related construction discipline.
What is on Offer

• Flexible start and finish times to support a healthy work-life balance.
• Generous car allowance or company vehicle.
• Performance-related regional bonus scheme.
• Comprehensive healthcare and pension package.
• Clear avenues for progression into commercial management.
