  • Monitor project costs, identifying opportunities to improve commercial performance.
  • Produce accurate valuations, applications for payment and commercial forecasts.
  • Work collaboratively with project teams to ensure commercial objectives are achieved.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and supply chain partners.
  • Mentor and support Assistant and Quantity Surveyors within the commercial team.
  • Support continuous improvement of commercial processes and procedures.

  • Strong working knowledge of NEC contracts and commercial management principles.
  • Experience managing subcontract packages from procurement through to final account.
  • Strong financial reporting, forecasting and cost management experience.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced project environment.
  • Degree or HNC/HND qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
  • RICS membership or working towards chartership would be advantageous.
