Senior Quantity Surveyor – Overview
We are currently working with one of the UK’s leading technical and energy services providers who specialise in major decarbonisation and net zero solution projects within the commercial and public sector. They deliver decarbonisation projects up to £50million and above in value for sites such as Hospitals, Universities, Museums and many other complex live environments. They have a talented workforce of over 5,000 people and can offer development, progression and role with true autonomy.
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will work closely with the Regional Commercial Manager and delivery teams to manage and control the commercial, financial, and contractual elements of designated project(s). Your main objectives will be to maximise project profitability, minimise project risk, and ensure contractual obligations are met.
- Produce accurate project commercial reports and forecasts.
- Prepare accurate and timely client valuations.
- Manage project sub-contract procurement.
- Preparation of subcontracts and all required documentation in adherence with business guidelines.
- Management and control of sub-contract accounts and variations.
- Ensuring projects commercial obligations are administered in accordance with client contracts.
- Work closely as part of a delivery team with site operations and design to identify and mitigate risks and opportunities.
- Change management control.
- Liaising with Commercial Managers and Project Directors on contractual issues and taking action as required.
- Attend project and company related meetings.
- Maintain and develop professional relationships with the Client, to help future business development.
Senior Quantity Surveyor – Requirements
- A formal qualification in Quantity Surveying (BSc, MSc, HND, RICS)
- Experience across: M&E / MEP / building fit out / building refurbishment / civil engineering.
- Experience with projects from £2million - £20million
Senior Quantity Surveyor – Salary & Remuneration
- Salary £80,000 - £100,000
