Senior Quantity Surveyor

Position:          Senior Quantity Surveyor
Location:         Weybridge, Surrey
Rate of pay:    £425-£475p/day (Outside of IR35)
Contract:         9 months plus
The role:

This leading main contractor has an immediate requirement for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their southern regional office and work on a newly secured education project in Surrey.

You will carry out all commercial activities for the project including: Appointing subcontractors, procurement, managing sub-contractor accounts, cash flow forecasting, variations accounts, Value engineering, final accounts.
As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be based in the office in Surrey and within 8 weeks you will be based on the site with the project team to deliver the project.

The project:
The project you will be responsible as Senior Quantity Surveyor is a £34m new build education project for an existing school in Surrey. The project will include a large cut and carve refurbishment, whilst extending the main building. Other associated work will be included in the contract such as upgrading sports facility, landscaping and communal areas.

What you will need to have:
A UK Quantity Surveying qualification. Ideally degree qualified.
Over 5yrs proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor.
Been fully commercially responsible for your own project or projects to £30m in value.
a stable employment of medium to long periods of service with companies.
Working on commercial, education and general building projects.
