Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing budgets, forecasts, cash flow and commercial reporting

  • Identifying and controlling commercial risks and opportunities

  • Managing change, compensation events and contractual notices

  • Preparing, negotiating and closing claims and final accounts

  • Supporting procurement and the commercial management of subcontractors

  • Ensuring accurate cost capture and robust financial controls

  • Providing commercial advice to operational and senior management teams

  • Supporting and mentoring junior members of the commercial team

About You

  • Strong commercial reporting, forecasting and cost-management skills

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline

  • The ability to work collaboratively with operational teams, clients and supply-chain partners

Professional membership of RICS, CIOB or ICES would be beneficial but isn’t essential.

You’ll need to live within a reasonable commuting distance of Chester and be comfortable attending the office or contract locations approximately three days per week. Candidates available at short notice are particularly encouraged to apply.
