V7 Recruitment are working with a leading construction and data centre delivery specialist to recruit an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their project delivery team in Vaasa, Finland and Kristiansand, Norway.
This is an excellent opportunity to take a senior commercial role on a large-scale, technically complex data centre project. You will take ownership of the commercial and contractual management of the project, working closely with the Contracts Manager, Project Manager and wider delivery team.

- Take ownership of the commercial strategy and financial performance of the project.
- Lead procurement, subcontractor selection, negotiations and final accounts.
- Manage project costs, valuations, forecasting and cashflow.
- Oversee variations, change control, claims and commercial entitlement.
- Manage commercial risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure contractual compliance and protect the company’s commercial position.
- Provide accurate commercial reporting to senior management.
- Support and mentor junior Quantity Surveyors and commercial staff.
- Build strong relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
- Significant experience as a Quantity Surveyor on large-scale construction projects.
- Strong experience across cost management, procurement, contracts and change control.
- Experience delivering complex design and build projects and high-value contracts.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, ideally including NEC and JCT.
- Data centre, mission-critical or other technically complex project experience would be highly advantageous.
- Strong commercial awareness, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven experience supporting and developing junior commercial staff.
- Chartered membership of RICS, CIOB or equivalent would be advantageous.
