Role Overview
The Senior Recruitment Consultant  will play a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality recruitment solutions across engineering and technology sectors. This role focuses on candidate attraction, sourcing, engagement, and pipeline development, working closely with the Head of Infrastructure to fill permanent, contract, and contingent roles for clients across the UK. Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively source candidates using job boards, LinkedIn, social media, internal databases, and networking.
  • Write and post job adverts aligned to client and consultant briefs.
  • Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines across engineering and technology disciplines.
  • Support interview coordination, feedback collection, and offer processes.
  • Assist with reference checks and compliance documentation.
  • Database & CRM Management
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on the CRM/ATS system.
  • Track candidate activity, availability, and engagement levels.

Candidate Management

  • Screen CVs against job requirements and shortlist suitable candidates.
  • Conduct initial candidate qualification calls to assess skills, experience, availability, and motivations.
  • Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Ensure candidates are fully compliant with right-to-work and regulatory requirements.

Market Research & Branding

  • Conduct market mapping and competitor analysis to identify talent pools.
  • Support employer branding initiatives through LinkedIn posts and candidate engagement campaigns.
  • Stay up to date with trends in engineering, technology, and recruitment markets.

Experience

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to build rapport quickly with candidates and colleagues.
  • Highly organised with good attention to detail.
  • Resilient, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience in recruitment, resourcing, sales
  • Interest or background in engineering, technology, or STEM sectors.
  • Experience using CRM or ATS systems.
  • Curious and eager to learn about technical roles and industries.
  • Team player with a collaborative mindset.
