  • Coordinate and schedule property inspections and compliance activity with delivery partners and enforcement teams.
  • Monitor inspection outcomes and ensure appropriate follow-up actions are completed.
  • Liaise with landlords, managing agents and other stakeholders on complex licensing matters.
  • Support landlord engagement activities, including forums, guidance sessions and promotional initiatives.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of licensing procedures, guidance and operational processes.
  • Monitor workloads, case progression and emerging operational risks.
  • Work closely with contract management colleagues to identify and address quality, performance or compliance issues.
  • Support the continuous improvement of the licensing service.

Essential Experience

  • Significant experience in residential property licensing, private sector housing, housing regulation, environmental health or a related field.
  • Strong working knowledge of the Housing Act 2004 and residential property licensing legislation.
  • Experience of Selective Licensing, Additional HMO Licensing and/or Mandatory HMO Licensing.
  • Experience reviewing complex licensing cases and supporting regulatory decision-making.
  • Experience of property inspections, housing standards or compliance activity.
  • Experience providing technical guidance, mentoring or supervising colleagues.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Desirable Experience
