Senior Salesperson – Roofing Merchant

Our client is seeking a Senior Salesperson to join their successful branch. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in the roofing or builders' merchant sector who enjoys building customer relationships and delivering outstanding service.

The Role

As a Senior Salesperson, you'll play a key role in developing sales, looking after both existing and new customers, and providing expert advice on roofing products and materials.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Serving trade and retail customers.
• Preparing quotations and processing orders.
• Building long-term customer relationships.
• Maximising sales opportunities and promoting additional products.
• Advising customers on roofing materials and product suitability.
• Working closely with the branch team to ensure excellent customer service.
• Supporting the Branch Manager with the day-to-day running of the sales office.

About You

We're looking for someone with:

• Experience within a roofing merchant or builders' merchant environment.
• Good knowledge of roofing materials and products (preferred).
• A proactive and customer-focused approach.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• The ability to work well in a busy trade environment.

• £35,000 - £40,000 basic salary (dependeni on experience)
