Join a well-established Independent German-car Specialist as a Senior Service Receptionist, with a clear path into management when the current Manager retires within the next two to four years.
This is a one-of-a-kind Independent Specialist has been trading for 40 years. They handle around 90 cars each week and hold a 4.8 Google rating from approximately 500 reviews. And when the phone rings, a real person answers. It’s a simple, old-school approach and a large part of why the business has built such a brilliant reputation.
You’ll join a three-person reception team, pricing work accurately, looking after customers and helping the workshop run efficiently.
Staff tend to stay. Some have been with the business for more than 40 years, and those who leave have even been known to return.
This vacancy is rare because recruitment isn’t a recurring hobby here.
- Monday to Friday, 7:45am–6:00pm with 1 in 4 Saturdays, paid at time and a half
- 20 days’ holiday, increasing annually with service
- Approximately 10–12 days off over Christmas for the equivalent of 1.5
- Attendance bonus worth around £1,200 per year
- Staff parking
What they’re looking for
- Substantial Service Advisor or Service Reception experience
- German vehicle experience would be beneficial
- Strong customer service and estimating skills
- Someone ready for a long-term management opportunity
