We are currently seeking a Senior Service Advisor to join a reputable automotive dealership in Chelmsford. This is an excellent Senior Service Advisor opportunity for an experienced professional to further their career within a customer-focused environment that values high standards and service excellence. The successful individual will be integral to maintaining the dealership’s reputation for quality service and customer satisfaction.

  • Competitive salary starting from £35,000 per annum
  • Working hours Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
  • One in three Saturdays, 8:00 am to 1:00 pm, on a rota basis

Duties of a Senior Service Advisor:
  • Providing exceptional customer service and building long-term relationships
  • Managing service bookings efficiently and keeping customers informed
  • Upselling additional services and parts to maximise workshop productivity
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring compliance with dealership standards
  • Coordinating with workshop staff to ensure timely vehicle repairs
  • Promoting repeat business through effective communication and rapport building
Requirements of a Senior Service Advisor:
  • Proven experience as a Service Advisor, ideally within the motor trade industry
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Customer-focused with a professional, proactive attitude
  • Ability to upsell and negotiate effectively
  • Knowledge of workshop processes and vehicle repair procedures is advantageous
