P+S Energy are pleased to be working on behalf of our client, who is currently seeking a Senior Service Supervisor to work offshore on a vessel based in the EU.
Job Purpose:
Provide leadership and supervision to assigned vessel crew in the use of equipment, controls for the use of materials and monitors and records the progression of service and use of materials at the job site, working closely with the customers and our clients’ engineers.
Main Responsibilities:
- Co-ordination and supervision of the crew during planning, loading, and moving to and from location.
- Co-ordination and supervision of the employees on site while performing the job and assuring compliance with the customer and our clients safety requirements.
- Confers with the customer and the Services Engineers to verify pumping schedule.
- Maintain and record accurate calibration records for all relevant equipment and flow meters etc.
- Monitors and documents all phases of the pumping service process.
- Assists in preparing Field Tickets and obtains customer representative approval prior to pumping the job and after completion.
- Accurately and objectively reports job quality and crew performance and takes appropriate action to correct failing performances.
- Confers with maintenance personnel on equipment status to preclude unnecessary equipment down time.
- Assists in taking appropriate action to solve any problems on site with the customer.
- Assist and provide guidance to subordinates in all areas, ensuring that subordinates are aware of duties as detailed in their applicable job descriptions and are accountable.
- Provides assistance and relief cover for Vessel Supervisor.
- Actively ensure own health and safety and the health and the safety of fellow workers is preserved at all times.
- Ensures full awareness of, and compliance with, the requirements of all relevant company / customer HSEQ handbooks, HSEQ procedures and emergency procedures.
- Perform to the Quality Standards set by the Company.
- Undertake training as required by the Company Training and Competency System.
Person Specification:
- Extensive experience in a similar role, in relation to operating stimulation equipment and working in a Vessel Control Room.
- Strong background in Marine based well stimulation.
- Significant experience in proppant and acid work.
- Experienced in all well stimulation activities.
- Proficient in using Microsoft packages, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Leadership and motivation skills.
- Able to effectively communicate at all levels.
- Be able to manage time and priorities effectively.
- Have a proactive approach.
- Be able to work with and lead a team.
- Ability to problem solve, especially within time constraints.
Working Hours and Benefits:
- 28 / 28-day rotation (can be subject to change by +/- days dependent on operational requirements).

- Holiday entitlement, when off rotation only.
