My client are a national civil engineering contractor who are currently seeking a Senior Site Agent to help deliver a Water Treatment Works (WTW) project in Portsmouth. The project involves tunnelling and shaft construction, so previous experience in these areas is essential.
Senior Site Agent Responsibilities:
- Managing day-to-day site operations
- Managing Site Agents, Engineers, Supervisors and subcontractors
- Overseeing tunnelling and shaft construction works
- Client and stakeholder liaison
- Toolbox talks
- Health and safety compliance
- Managing RAMS, permits and temporary works
- Coordinating labour, plant and materials
- Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to specification
- Monitoring quality and maintaining site records
- Reporting progress to the Project Manager
- Supporting programme planning and project delivery
Senior Site Agent Requirements:
- Black or Gold CSCS
- SMSTS
- Strong tunnelling and shaft experience is essential
- Previous WTW or water infrastructure experience is essential
- Strong civil engineering background
- Experience managing underground works, deep excavations and temporary works
- Experience managing subcontractors and site teams
- Good understanding of RAMS, health and safety and quality requirements
- IT literate
- Full UK driving licence
