Senior Site Engineer – Civils / Groundworks

We’re working with an established North West construction contractor who are looking to add an experienced Senior Site Engineer to their team.

The role would suit a Site Engineer / Senior Site Engineer with a strong civils / groundworks background, looking for a long-term opportunity with a growing contractor.

The Role

• Setting out and surveying on civils and groundworks projects
• Checking levels, coordinates and dimensions
• Working closely with Site Managers and Contracts Managers
• Ensuring works are being delivered to drawings and specifications
• Producing and maintaining site records
• Carrying out quality checks and inspections
• Liaising with subcontractors and site teams
• Monitoring progress and providing technical support on site
• Assisting with planning and sequencing of works
• Identifying and resolving technical issues

We’re looking for someone with:

• Previous experience as a Site Engineer / Senior Site Engineer
• Strong civils and groundworks experience
• Good setting out experience
• Experience working from construction drawings
• Good knowledge of levels, coordinates and surveying equipment
• Strong understanding of construction methods and site processes
• Ability to work closely with site teams and subcontractors
• CSCS and relevant engineering qualifications
• Experience working for a main contractor would be beneficial
