12-Month Contract / Freelance Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to lead the delivery of a prestigious £30m apartment development in Stoke.

This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of a major residential scheme from initial demolition works through to final handover, working for a well-established contractor with a strong pipeline of projects.

The Project

• £30m apartment development
• 12-month programme
• Full lifecycle involvement from demolition and enabling works through to completion
• Management of all site operations, subcontractors, programme and health & safety
• Reporting directly to the Project Manager and Contracts Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee demolition, groundworks, infrastructure and superstructure phases
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors and direct labour
• Ensure programme milestones are achieved safely and efficiently
• Maintain high standards of quality control throughout the build
• Drive health, safety and environmental compliance across site
• Chair site meetings and liaise with clients, consultants and stakeholders
• Manage project documentation and reporting requirements

Requirements

• Proven track record delivering large-scale residential or commercial projects
• Experience managing projects from enabling works through to completion
• Strong knowledge of demolition, groundworks, RC frame and finishing trades
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualified
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to drive programme whilst maintaining quality and safety standards
