Senior Site Manager

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to join a Premium tier 1 principal contractor delivering high-value industrial and logistics construction projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proven Senior Site Manager who has a strong track record delivering large-scale industrial, logistics, warehouse, distribution or similar projects from a principal contractor background.

As Senior Site Manager, you will take a key leadership role on site, overseeing the successful delivery of the project from pre-construction through to completion. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards across programme, quality, health & safety and commercial delivery, while managing site teams, subcontractors and key project stakeholders.

• Lead and manage day-to-day site operations on a major industrial/logistics project.
• Manage Site Managers, Engineers, subcontractors and the wider delivery team.
• Drive the project programme and ensure key milestones are achieved.
• Coordinate subcontractors and ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and to specification.
• Maintain strong standards of quality and workmanship throughout the project.
• Work closely with the Project Manager, Commercial Team and Design Team.
• Monitor progress, identify potential issues and implement effective solutions.
• Lead site meetings and coordinate works across multiple disciplines.
• Ensure full compliance with health & safety legislation and company procedures.
• Maintain strong relationships with the client, consultants, subcontractors and project stakeholders.
• Support the project through commissioning, handover and completion.

We are looking for an established Senior Site Manager with:

• Proven experience working for a principal/main contractor.
• A strong background delivering industrial, logistics, warehouse, distribution or large-scale commercial projects.
• Experience managing complex projects with multiple subcontractors and trades.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• A thorough understanding of construction programmes, sequencing and site logistics.
• Excellent health & safety and quality awareness.
• The ability to manage teams effectively and drive project performance.
• Relevant construction qualifications, ideally SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid.
