Eden Brown Synergy is currently working in partnership with Hampshire County Council to recruit an experienced Senior Social Worker to join the Family Help Hub within the Hart & Rushmoor area.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Children's Social Worker to take on a senior role within a progressive Family Help service, working with children and families to improve outcomes and promote safe, sustainable family relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a varied and complex caseload of children and families.
• Undertake Child and Family Assessments and provide analytical assessment of risk and need.
• Develop, implement and review plans with children, families and partner agencies.
• Undertake statutory visits and direct work with children and young people.
• Manage safeguarding concerns and ensure appropriate action is taken to protect children.
• Undertake CIN and Child Protection work where required.
• Work collaboratively with education, health, police and other partner agencies.
• Ensure the child's voice and lived experience remain central to all decision-making.
• Prepare high-quality reports for meetings, reviews and court proceedings where required.
• Provide professional support, guidance and advice to colleagues.
• Contribute to a positive learning culture and promote high standards of social work practice.
• Manage complex situations confidently and make sound professional judgements.

Requirements:

• Social Work England registration.
• Recognised Social Work qualification.
• Significant post-qualification experience within Children's Social Care.
• Strong experience of Child and Family Assessments, safeguarding, CIN and Child Protection.
• Experience managing complex cases and making autonomous professional decisions.
• Good understanding of relevant Children's Social Care legislation and statutory frameworks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multi-agency environment.
• Previous Family Help, Child Protection or similar statutory children's social work experience would be highly desirable.
• Experience supporting or mentoring less experienced Social Workers would be advantageous.
