Your Role

As a Senior Stress Analysis Engineer, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the structural integrity, safety and performance of aircraft landing gear systems. Working on complex engineering challenges, you'll lead analysis activities that support product development, qualification, production and continued airworthiness throughout the lifecycle of our products.

You'll be responsible for delivering advanced structural assessments, combining analytical calculations, finite element analysis, fatigue assessments, material data and test evidence to make robust engineering recommendations. Working closely with Design, Test, Manufacturing and Programme teams, you'll influence technical decisions, support product development and help solve some of the aerospace industry's most challenging engineering problems.

You'll also mentor and support colleagues, contribute to the development of engineering methods and tools, and help drive continuous improvement across the analysis function

*Strong practical experience in structural analysis, including classical stress, fatigue and finite element analysis techniques. Essential

*Ability to interpret engineering drawings, load cases, material data and technical specifications to develop sound engineering solutions. Essential
*Experience combining analysis, testing, manufacturing and design information to support evidence-based engineering decisions. Essential
*Background in aerospace, landing gear or another complex structural engineering environment. Essential
*Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical recommendations to a range of stakeholders. Essential
*Experience mentoring, coaching or providing technical guidance to other engineers. Desirable
