I'm currently recruiting for a well-established engineering consultancy in Newcastle with an excellent reputation for delivering technically challenging refurbishment, adaptive reuse and structural investigation projects across the UK.

The Role

As a Senior Structural Engineer, you'll manage projects from concept through to completion while working closely with clients, architects and multidisciplinary design teams.

Typical projects include:

  • Heritage & listed buildings
  • Structural investigations
  • Existing building refurbishments
  • Adaptive reuse
  • Commercial & public sector developments

You'll also mentor junior engineers, develop client relationships and play a key role in delivering technically challenging projects across the North East and beyond.

About You

You'll ideally have:

  • 5+ years' experience within a UK structural consultancy.
  • Experience designing in steel, concrete, masonry and timber.
  • Strong communication and client-facing skills.
  • Chartered status or actively working towards Chartership.
  • An interest in refurbishment, conservation or existing buildings.
