Role: Senior Systems Engineer
- Lead systems engineering activities across the full engineering lifecycle, including requirements management, architecture development, integration, verification, validation, and acceptance.
- Develop and maintain robust system requirements, technical architectures, interface definitions, configuration baselines, and engineering change control processes.
- Provide technical leadership and assurance, leading design reviews, technical reviews, risk assessments, and compliance activities within safety-critical and regulated environments.
- Collaborate with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary teams to resolve complex engineering challenges and support successful project delivery.
- Support bids, technical solution development, project planning, testing, commissioning, and operational issue resolution, ensuring delivery against quality, cost, and schedule objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement, mentor and develop engineering teams, and ensure compliance with health and safety, GDPR, corporate governance, and diversity and inclusion requirements.
Training and Qualifications:
Degree in Systems / Mechanical / Electrical / Control / Software Engineering (or equivalent engineering discipline) - Essential
Relevant systems engineering experience - Essential
Experience in multi-disciplinary engineering integration - Essential
Nuclear / highly regulated industry experience - Desirable
