We are working on behalf of our client, a reputable independent garage in Milton Keynes, seeking a Senior Technician to join their experienced team. Benefits for the successful Senior Technician:
  • Basic salary up to £45,760 (£22 per hour), with overtime paid at double rate (up to £44 per hour)
  • Overtime available with any hours worked paid at 2x hourly rate
  • Working hours Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, 40 hours per week

Duties of the Senior Technician:
  • Conduct diagnostics, servicing, repairs, and mechanical work on a diverse range of vehicles
  • Diagnose complex faults accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship and attention to detail
  • Provide a professional, friendly customer service experience at all times
  • Assist junior team members, sharing technical knowledge and best practices
  • Ensure all work complies with industry and manufacturer standards
  • Keep workshop and diagnostic equipment maintained and functional to high standards
Requirements of the Senior Technician:
  • Recognised qualification in Motor Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician, with a focus on high-end or German brands preferred
  • Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Positive attitude and proactive approach to work
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment
  • Willingness to learn and stay current with industry developments
  • Enthusiasm for working with premium vehicles and delivering excellent customer care
