I'm working with a product led business investing heavily in its Product and Technology teams following significant private equity backing. Over the last year they've built a strong UX function, introduced modern product practices and are now entering the next phase of their journey.

They're not looking for another UX Designer.

They're looking for someone to become the visual design and design systems specialist across the business.

You'll join a growing UX team where discovery, research and validation are already well established. Rather than splitting your time between research and UI, you'll take validated ideas and turn them into polished, accessible, scalable digital products used by millions of users.

• You'll own the design system.
• You'll shape the visual language.
• You'll mentor other designers.

You'll work alongside Product Managers, Engineers and UX Designers to ensure every experience is consistent, intuitive and commercially effective.

What you'll be doing

• Owning and evolving the company's design system.
• Designing polished digital experiences across web and mobile.
• Creating reusable components, variables and design tokens.
• Building high-fidelity prototypes and interaction design.
• Championing accessibility and design quality.
• Mentoring other UX Designers through reviews and coaching.
• Working closely with Engineering to ensure designs are implemented exactly as intended.
• Helping shape the future direction of design across the business.

You'll probably have experience with

Salary is up to £65,000, alongside bonus, private healthcare, generous annual leave and hybrid (3 days onsite) working from their Manchester office.
