Senior Vehicle Technician

£34,000–£40,000 + Monthly Profit Share + Annual Bonus + Pension + Christmas Bonus + Benefits Monday –Friday Only – No Weekends 

Our client are a long‑established, very busy, family‑run garage with an excellent local reputation — and due to continued demand, they are looking for experienced Vehicle Technicians, ideally with some management or supervisory experience.

• up to £40k basic salary (OTE £46,000)

• Excellent working conditions in a friendly, long‑standing team

• Experienced Vehicle Technician or Mechanic (minimum 6 years’ experience)

• Full UK driving licence

• Strong diagnostics and repair capability

• Ability to interpret schematics and technical information

• Confident using hand and power tools

• Good customer service and communication skills

• Mature judgement, strong decision‑making and the ability to price jobs accurately

• Management or supervisory experience is highly desirable

As a Motor Vehicle Technician/ Mechanic, you will play a key role in ensuring vehicles are repaired, serviced and maintained to the highest standards. Reporting to the Service Manager, you will:

• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently and safely

• Perform servicing, maintenance and assembly tasks

• Use diagnostic equipment and technical schematics effectively

• Deliver excellent customer service and clear communication

• Support workshop organisation and workflow

• Apply strong judgement and decision‑making to maximise efficiency and profitability
