I am recruiting an experienced Senior Vehicle Technician, Diagnostic Technician or Master Technician for a modern, growing automotive business in Derby.

This is not a role centred around routine servicing.

We are looking for somebody who genuinely knows their way around a vehicle - a strong multi-brand Technician who enjoys diagnostics, fault finding and getting stuck into the bigger mechanical jobs.

You should be confident with:

• Advanced diagnostics and complex fault finding

   

• Engine repairs

   

• Wet belt replacements

   

• Cam belts

   

• Clutches

   

• Larger mechanical repairs

   

• Electrical and sensor-related diagnosis

   

• General mechanical repairs

   

• Working across multiple makes and models

   

• Cars and light commercial vehicles

   

The workshop itself is modern, clean, organised and properly equipped. You will have your own dedicated ramp area, your own equipment and access to the specialist tooling you need.

Someone who is confident across multiple brands, strong diagnostically, comfortable undertaking major mechanical repairs and takes pride in doing the job properly.

You don't need somebody standing over you telling you what to do. You know your trade, you take responsibility for your work and you want to be valued for the technical ability you bring.
