Server Engineer (1-Day Contract)
Location: Bolton
Date: Next Monday
Rate: £180 per day (Inside IR35)
We're looking for a Server Engineer to provide onsite support for a 1-day assignment in Bolton next Monday.
Responsibilities:
- Rack and install servers within the data centre environment
- Connect servers to the correct network and power ports
- Perform server patching and basic configuration tasks
- Verify hardware connectivity and network functionality
- Work alongside onsite IT teams to ensure successful deployment
- Troubleshoot installation and connectivity issues where required
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Server Engineer or Data Centre Engineer
- Experience racking and stacking server hardware
- Knowledge of server patching and infrastructure deployments
- Understanding of networking concepts and cabling standards
- Ability to work independently onsite
- Must be available to work next Monday in Bolton
This is a 1-day contract paying £180 per day (Inside IR35).
