We are currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Service Administrator to join a reputable car dealership group in Croydon, Surrey. The Service Administrator will be responsible for managing all service operations with professionalism and efficiency, ensuring a superior customer experience.

Duties of the Service Administrator:
  • Managing all service telephone and walk-in customer enquiries, including booking appointments
  • Interpreting customer concerns and coordinating with technicians for effective service delivery
  • Liaising with customers regarding additional work and providing accurate cost estimates
  • Greeting customers and scheduling services to ensure a positive experience
  • Tracking vehicles through the workshop system and updating customers on progress
  • Handling customer complaints and requests professionally
  • Obtaining authorisations and processing payments for repairs
  • Managing courtesy cars to facilitate seamless service operations
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Service Administrator, Service Advisor, or similar role within the automotive industry
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Attention to detail with good administrative abilities
  • Knowledge of workshop processes and vehicle tracking systems is advantageous
  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service and handle customer queries confidently
