£19.15 per hour
Overtime paid at 1.5x hourly rate
Overview
We're looking for a Service Advisor to join a world-renowned commercial vehicle manufacturer in Bridgwater on a temporary basis. You'll be meeting and greeting customers, managing administrative tasks, planning and scheduling work, and keeping customers updated throughout the repair process. If you're organised, customer-focused, and ready for a temporary role, this is the one.
Key Responsibilities
- Meeting and greeting all customers on arrival in a professional and friendly manner
- Managing day-to-day administrative tasks confidently and efficiently
- Planning, scheduling, and coordinating work
- Creating and processing job cards – checking for existing work in progress
- Checking account details, available credit, and obtaining relevant authorisation
- Providing timely updates to customers
- Agreeing timescales for unscheduled work and following through to completion
- Using initiative and working comfortably as an individual
- Previous Service Advisor experience (preferred)
- Strong customer service skills – professional and friendly
- Organised and able to manage multiple tasks
- Confident using computer systems and booking software
- Full UK driving licence (preferred but not essential)
- You'll be a great fit if you're customer-focused, organised, and available for a temporary role.
