Service Advisor – Torbay (£30,000–£36,000)

Overview
You will be the main point of contact between customers and the workshop, ensuring vehicle servicing and repairs are managed efficiently while delivering excellent customer service. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and discuss servicing, maintenance, and repair requirements.
  • Book vehicles into the workshop and arrange courtesy cars where needed.
  • Liaise with technicians and workshop controllers on vehicle progress.
  • Keep customers updated and obtain approval for additional work.
  • Prepare job cards, estimates, and invoices.
  • Explain completed work and associated charges.
  • Upsell service plans, labour, parts, and other aftersales products.
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.

Requirements

  • Previous Service Advisor experience in a motor dealership.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Good administration and computer skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Experience with dealership management systems is advantageous.
