Duties of A Service Advisor:
  • Managing customer bookings to ensure workshop efficiency
  • Providing regular updates to customers about vehicle progress and repair times
  • Producing accurate job cards, invoices, estimates, and associated documentation
  • Clearly explaining completed work to clients
  • Identifying additional aftersales opportunities when appropriate
  • Liaising with parts department regarding parts availability
  • Recording retail, warranty, and non-chargeable repairs precisely
  • Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction at all times
Requirements of A Service Advisor:
  • Previous experience as a Service Advisor is highly advantageous
  • Excellent communication skills, both face-to-face and over the phone
  • Strong administrative and organisational abilities
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
  • Experience working within an office or administrative environment is desirable
  • Kerridge system knowledge would be beneficial
  • Customer-focused attitude and professional approach
