We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a franchise-approved car dealership in the Oxford region, for a Vehicle Service Advisor to join their busy Service Department.

  • Monday to Friday 8:00am–6:00pm with 1-hour lunch break, plus 1 in 4 Saturdays 9:00am–1:00pm

Duties of the Service Advisor:
  • Greet customers in the Service Department and book vehicles in for associated repair work
  • Liaise with the workshop to chase work in progress and manage job progress updates
  • Advise and influence customers on minor technical issues, delivering a first-class customer experience
  • Upsell additional products and services where appropriate to support dealership objectives
  • Keep customers informed throughout the process and take payments for work completed
  • Work collaboratively with one other Vehicle Service Advisor and the workshop team, reporting to the Aftersales Manager
Requirements of the Service Advisor:
  • Customer service experience from within an automotive aftersales environment or comparable service/sales background
  • Strong communication skills with a clear focus on total customer satisfaction
  • Excellent organisational and IT skills
  • Kerridge DMS or Onelink experience is beneficial, though not essential
  • Current or recent experience as a Vehicle Service Advisor is advantageous but not required if you can demonstrate transferable customer-facing strengths
  • Full, clean UK driving licence with minimal points
  • Right to work in the UK
