We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Vehicle Service Advisor to join a reputable franchised approved dealership in Pontypridd. Our client is committed to delivering exceptional service and is looking to expand their team by adding a dedicated Vehicle Service Advisor. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced individual to progress within a stable and supportive environment.

  • 45-hour working week, Monday to Friday, with shifts between 7:00am and 6:00pm
Duties of a Service Advisor:
  • Greet customers and manage their vehicle service needs efficiently
  • Liaise extensively with the workshop team to track work in progress
  • Upsell additional products and services where appropriate
  • Book vehicles into the service department and manage appointment schedules
  • Keep customers informed of vehicle progress and provide exemplary customer service
  • Assist in organising courtesy vehicles and liaising with customers regarding repairs and maintenance
  • Maintain accurate records using DMS systems (preferably Pinewood Pinnacle) and Microsoft Office applications
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent communication and organisational skills
Requirements:
  • Experience as a Vehicle Service Advisor or similar role within the automotive sector is preferred
  • Strong customer service skills with a proactive approach
  • UK driving licence with minimal points
  • Knowledge of DMS systems; Pinewood Pinnacle experience is advantageous
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Willingness to undertake training and develop within the role
  • individuals with experience outside the motor trade but with relevant customer service backgrounds will be considered
