We are seeking a dedicated Plant Service Advisor for our client's franchise-approved plant machinery dealership located in Gloucester. The Plant Service Advisor will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring workshop efficiency, and maintaining the highest standards of operational performance. Duties of a Plant Service Advisor:
  • Engage with customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and loyalty
  • Manage workshop loading schedules, optimising productivity
  • Book and coordinate vehicle appointments, balancing customer convenience and workshop capacity
  • Accurately produce job cards, invoices, estimates, and warranty documentation
  • Provide clear explanations to customers regarding work carried out, maximising sales opportunities
  • Identify customer requirements and supply fully inclusive, accurate quotations
  • Liaise with parts department to ensure parts availability
  • Record and track all work requirements, including retail, warranty, and internal repairs
  • Liaise with vehicle manufacturers to authorise warranty repairs, when applicable
  • Maintain compliance with manufacturer policies and warranty procedures
Requirements of a Plant Service Advisor:
  • Proven experience as a Service Advisor, ideally within the plant, agricultural, or automotive industry
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Excellent organisational and IT skills; experience with Kerridge/Keyloop is advantageous
  • UK driving licence with minimal points
  • Ability to deliver the highest standards of customer care
  • Knowledge of warranty procedures and liaising with manufacturers (desirable but not essential)
  • Ability to work efficiently within a team environment
