We are recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of Service Advisor in Eastbourne, East Sussex. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced motor trade professionals to join a reputable main dealer within a multi-brand dealer group that has a longstanding presence across the UK. The ideal individual will demonstrate strong customer service skills, automotive knowledge, and a proactive attitude to deliver outstanding service standards.

  • Basic salary up to £32,000, dependent on experience

Duties of the Service Advisor:
  • Handle customer enquiries and address queries efficiently and professionally
  • Qualify service needs and diagnose vehicle issues when necessary
  • Obtain customer approval and agreement on work to be carried out
  • Maintain accurate records within the service department management system
  • Manage the handover and administration of loan vehicles
  • Clearly explain work carried out on vehicles to customers, ensuring full understanding and authorisation
  • Ensure compliance with manufacturer service schedules and guidelines
  • Adhere to health and safety protocols and company working standards
  • Maintain high standards of customer communication and service delivery
Requirements of the Service Advisor:
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Previous experience within the automotive or dealership environment
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Passion for delivering excellent customer service
  • Good understanding of vehicles and common automotive issues
  • Experience with Power systems is advantageous
  • Positive attitude and proactive approach to work
