We are currently recruiting for a Service Advisor on behalf of our client, a reputable dealership in Worthing, West Sussex. This is a significant opportunity for skilled and experienced individuals to advance their career within a well-established motor trade environment. Key benefits:
  • Basic salary of £28,000 to £32,000, with an OTE of approximately £40,000
  • Opportunity for professional growth through accredited training within 12 months
  • Supportive team environment with dedicated workshop and MOT testing facilities
  • Working within a modern dealership in a central Worthing location
  • No weekend work, standard hours 08:00 – 17:30, Monday to Friday
  • Access to comprehensive online and remote training, including systems like Pinnacle, Elsa, and VMS
  • Opportunity to earn additional bonuses based on performance
Duties of a Service Advisor:
  • Meet and greet customers efficiently, establishing their vehicle service requirements
  • Book in vehicles and prepare accurate job cards using the dealership’s DMS system (Pinnacle)
  • Upsell additional services such as warranties and extended warranties to enhance customer satisfaction
  • Manage warranty claims and ensure timely completion of services
  • Provide clear, professional communication to customers regarding vehicle maintenance and repair options
  • Work closely with the workshop team to facilitate smooth workflow and customer satisfaction
  • Maintain accurate records of all service work and upsell opportunities
Requirements of a Service Advisor:
  • Genuine interest and enthusiasm for the automotive trade; trainee roles available with a starting salary of around £28,000
  • Basic knowledge of dealership systems, including Pinnacle, is advantageous
  • Strong organisational skills with a professional approach
  • Confident in upselling additional services and maintaining excellent customer relationships
  • Excellent communication skills with a passion for delivering high-quality customer service
