We are currently recruiting a Service Advisor on behalf of our client, a reputable Main Dealer located in Shrewsbury, Shropshire. This is a significant opportunity for an experienced automotive professional seeking to advance their career within a well-established dealership. The Service Advisor role offers a competitive salary, uncapped earning potential, and genuine career progression prospects within a growing dealer group. 

Benefits:
  • Basic salary of £29,000
  • Uncapped OTE of £35,000+
  • Manufacturer-led training programmes and ongoing professional development
  • Opportunities for career advancement within the dealership group
  • Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 6:00pm, with one early finish per week
  • Alternate Saturdays, 8:00am to 2:00pm
  • 42-hour working week, with a supportive team environment
Duties of a Service Advisor:
  • Booking customer vehicles in for servicing, MOTs, and repair work
  • Keeping customers informed throughout the repair process
  • Advising customers on repairs, maintenance, and warranty work
  • Upselling additional products, services, and accessories
  • Scheduling appointments to maximise workshop efficiency
  • Maintaining accurate customer records and updating dealership systems
Requirements of a Service Advisor:
  • Proven experience as a Service Advisor within the motor trade
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced dealership environment
  • Kerridge / ADP experience is advantageous
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload effectively
