We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable dealership in Yeovil, Somerset, for the position of Service Advisor. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced motor trade professionals to join a well-established team and progress their career within the automotive industry.

Duties of the Service Advisor:
  • Deliver professional, high-quality customer service during vehicle servicing and repairs
  • Manage workshop communication, liaising effectively with workshop and parts departments
  • Discuss additional work requirements and costs with customers in a clear and courteous manner
  • Schedule and record vehicle work efficiently, maintaining accurate and professional communication
  • Support the aftersales team with administrative tasks including file auditing, booking services, preparing orders, and invoicing
  • Ensure a smooth customer journey from arrival to vehicle pickup, maintaining high standards of service
Requirements of the Service Advisor:
  • Proven experience in a customer-facing role within the automotive industry or similar sector
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills
  • Proactive, flexible, and able to work effectively within a team
  • Excellent communication skills with a customer-centric approach as the Service Advisor
  • Motivated and committed to delivering outstanding customer service
