We are currently recruiting for a Service Advisor on behalf of our client in Chelmsford, Essex. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced motor trade professionals to join a well-established dealership and advance their careers within the automotive industry. This Service Advisor role offers a starting salary of £32,500, with opportunities for bonuses and overtime. The working hours are Monday to Thursday from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm, and Fridays from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, providing a stable and predictable working pattern. Duties of the Service Advisor: 
  • Providing exceptional customer service and acting as the primary point of contact for service customers
  • Booking vehicles in and managing customer appointments efficiently
  • Advising clients on vehicle repairs, maintenance, and warranty options
  • Upselling additional services and parts where appropriate
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process
  • Maintaining accurate records and managing dealership systems effectively
Requirements of the Service Advisor:
  • Previous experience as a Service Advisor within the automotive sector
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong organisational abilities with great attention to detail
  • Knowledge of automotive diagnostics and repair processes
