Duties of the Service Advisor position include:
  • Greeting customers courteously and acting as the primary point of contact during their vehicle’s service or repair
  • Keeping customers updated on repair progress, establishing trust and transparency
  • Upselling additional services and repairs based on technician recommendations
  • Managing appointment scheduling accurately and efficiently
  • Conducting pre-appointment calls to confirm bookings and answer customer queries
  • Maintaining detailed customer records within the dealership systems
  • Developing product knowledge through manufacturer-led training

Requirements for the Service Advisor role:
  • Proven experience in a Service Advisor or similar position within the automotive industry
  • Strong communication skills, confident in engaging with customers and colleagues
  • Excellent customer service ethic and professional approach
  • Ability to identify customer needs and upselling opportunities
  • Effective time management skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • Previous experience working in a target-driven environment
  • Hold a valid UK driving licence
