We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established automotive business in Huddersfield for the position of Service Advisor. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced service professional to join a reputable company that values quality service and customer satisfaction. The Service Advisor role offers a competitive salary package and a Monday to Friday working pattern, providing stability and work-life balance.

  • Basic salary up to £35,000, depending on experience
  • OTE a potential £39,000
  • Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm shift pattern

Duties of the Service Advisor:
  • Handle customer enquiries and queries efficiently and professionally
  • Qualify service needs and diagnose vehicle issues where appropriate
  • Establish a clear understanding and agreement with customers regarding work to be carried out
  • Clearly explain work performed and ensure customer understanding and approval
  • Adhere to manufacturer service standards and requirements
  • Maintain accurate records in relevant systems
  • Provide excellent customer service to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty
Requirements for the successful Service Advisor:
  • Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar automotive role
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Good attitude towards work and colleagues
  • Knowledge of vehicle systems and common issues
  • Customer-focused approach with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work efficiently within a team and independently when required
