We are currently recruiting for an experienced Service Advisor to join a well-established, family-run independent specialist group in Oldham. This is a rewarding opportunity for a skilled Service Advisor seeking a supportive environment with standard weekday working hours. Our client offers a friendly team atmosphere and competitive remuneration, with a potential salary of up to £34,000 (£36,000 OTE) based on experience.

Duties of the Service Advisor:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers, managing service bookings and inquiries
  • Provide expert advice on vehicle repairs, maintenance, and service options
  • Communicate effectively with customers, ensuring their needs are understood and met
  • Coordinate with the workshop team to deliver services on time and to a high standard
  • Handle customer complaints and queries professionally to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Manage administrative tasks such as invoicing, quotations, and order tracking
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products and services to give accurate information
Requirements of the Service Advisor:
  • Proven experience as an Automotive Service Advisor within an independent, main dealer, or car supermarket environment
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Customer-focused attitude with a drive to meet and exceed expectations
  • Ability to work effectively within a small, close-knit team
  • A full UK driving licence
