We are currently recruiting for the position of Service Advisor on behalf of a reputable dealership group in Eastbourne, East Sussex. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and experienced Service Advisor to join a well-established main dealer with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service. As a Service Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining high standards of customer care while supporting the dealership’s ongoing success.

Duties of the Service Advisor:
  • Handle customer enquiries promptly and professionally, ensuring excellent service
  • Qualify vehicle service needs and diagnose running issues where applicable
  • Explain vehicle repairs and maintenance to customers clearly, gaining their authorisation
  • Establish a clear understanding between the customer and workshop requirements
  • Accurately manage the service loading system in line with workshop capacity
  • Manage the handover of loan vehicles efficiently and accurately
  • Ensure all work undertaken is documented in accordance with manufacturer standards
  • Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations and dealership standards
  • Keep relevant systems updated with accurate data at all times
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times
Requirements of the Service Advisor:
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Strong customer service skills and professional attitude
  • Good organisational skills
  • Automotive sector experience preferred
  • Knowledge of vehicle systems and common issues advantageous
  • Experience with Power systems beneficial
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
