We are seeking a Service Advisor on behalf of a busy dealership in Birmingham, offering an excellent opportunity for skilled automotive customer service professionals to advance their career. Duties:
  • Manage the customer journey throughout the aftersales process, ensuring high customer satisfaction
  • Welcome customers and provide a professional, friendly service
  • Handle customer bookings and oversee the service process from start to finish
  • Provide regular updates to customers regarding their vehicles
  • Identify additional work and explain relevant products or services
  • Liaise closely with workshop teams to ensure timely vehicle completion
  • Maintain accurate customer records and handle sensitive information appropriately
  • Resolve customer queries and complaints efficiently and professionally
  • Support continuous improvements in processes and customer experience
  • Work as part of a team to meet departmental and dealership objectives
  • Promote additional products and services ethically and confidently
Requirements:
  • Previous experience within an automotive dealership or a customer-facing environment
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Experience in administration and handling confidential information
  • Confident in resolving customer complaints
  • Commercial awareness, ideally with sales experience
  • Automotive experience within a franchised or independent dealership is advantageous
  • Proficiency with Kerridge or Keyloop systems is preferable; strong customer service backgrounds from other sectors will also be considered
  • Full UK driving licence held for at least 6 months, with fewer than 9 penalty points
  • Right to work in the UK
