- Alternating Monday to Friday shifts of 7:00am–4:15pm and 8:45am–6:00pm.
- One in four Saturdays, 7:00am–12:00pm.
- As a Vehicle Service Advisor, you will deliver a high standard of customer service and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Manage workshop loading, book vehicles in efficiently and ensure appointments align with customer requirements and workshop capacity.
- Keep customers proactively informed about vehicle progress.
- Identify customer requirements and provide accurate, fully inclusive costings where possible.
- Produce accurate job cards, invoices, estimates and associated documentation.
- Explain completed work clearly and identify appropriate additional sales opportunities.
- Prepare warranty job cards in accordance with manufacturer policies and procedures.
- Accurately record retail, warranty, internal and non-chargeable repairs.
- Liaise with the Parts Department to confirm parts availability.
- The Vehicle Service Advisor will report to the Service Manager and work collaboratively within a friendly team.
- Recent or current experience as a Vehicle Service Advisor or in a similar automotive role is essential.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organisational ability and good IT literacy.
- Experience with Kerridge or Keyloop would be advantageous.
- Knowledge of commercial vehicles and warranty procedures would be beneficial but is not essential.
- The successful Vehicle Service Advisor must hold a UK driving licence with minimal points.
