Service Controller

We're recruiting for a Service Controller to join a leading specialist vehicle manufacturer in Slough. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in a busy service operation, ensuring customers receive exceptional support while helping to keep critical specialist vehicles operating at their best.

As a Service Controller, you'll be the heartbeat of the service department, coordinating engineer schedules, managing customer requests, and ensuring maintenance and repair activities run smoothly from start to finish.

• Managing customer service requests from initial enquiry through to completion
• Scheduling and coordinating engineer workloads to maximise efficiency
• Creating job cards, service notifications, and ordering required parts
• Tracking contract maintenance activities and ensuring service planners remain up to date
• Processing job sheets accurately and conducting customer follow-up calls
• Delivering outstanding customer service and maintaining regular communication with stakeholders
• Supporting site meetings, operational processes, and health & safety initiatives

• Previous experience in a Service Controller, Service Coordinator, Planner, Scheduler, or similar role
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Experience using SAP or similar service management systems would be advantageous
• A proactive and solutions-focused approach
• Experience within engineering, automotive, plant, fleet or technical service environments is desirable

• £32,000 - £34,000 basic salary
• Annual profit-related bonus scheme worth up to 5% of basic salary
