The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has become available for an organised and customer-focused Service Coordinator to join a busy and growing service team.

This is a fast-paced role where no two days are the same. You'll be responsible for coordinating engineers, managing customer accounts, scheduling service work and ensuring customers receive an outstanding level of support throughout every stage of the service process.

The Role

As a Service Coordinator, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the service department. Acting as the main point of contact for a portfolio of customers, you'll coordinate engineer schedules, manage service contracts and ensure work is completed efficiently while delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of customer accounts, acting as their dedicated Service Coordinator.
  • Coordinate engineers across the UK, scheduling planned maintenance and reactive service visits.
  • Handle a high volume of incoming calls, emails and service requests in a professional and timely manner.
  • Plan engineer workloads and forecast upcoming service requirements.
  • Manage service contracts, ensuring work is completed within agreed timescales.
  • Identify opportunities for contract renewals, additional services and remedial work.
  • Produce reports and maintain accurate records using the company CRM system.
  • Support the wider service department with administration, documentation and parts ordering.
  • Ensure engineers have all relevant job information, site access details and required documentation before attending site.
  • Maintain regular communication with customers, providing updates and resolving any queries throughout the service process.

About You

We're looking for someone who enjoys working in a fast-moving environment and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service. You'll be highly organised, able to prioritise multiple tasks and remain calm under pressure.

You'll also have:

  • Previous experience within a customer service, service coordination, administration or account management role.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Confidence working with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
  • A proactive approach with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to build strong relationships with customers, engineers and colleagues.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop.
