Service Coordinator

Workshop Recruitment

We're looking for an organised, proactive, and customer-focused Service Coordinator to join our busy Service team.

This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same. You'll be the key point of contact for a portfolio of customers, coordinating service and remedial works, supporting engineers, preparing quotations, and building strong customer relationships.

If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy problem-solving, and take pride in delivering exceptional customer service, we'd love to hear from you.

The Role

As a Service Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in ensuring customers receive an outstanding experience from initial enquiry through to the completion of service works.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing your own portfolio of customers and acting as their main point of contact.
  • Building strong customer relationships through excellent service and proactive communication.
  • Scheduling service visits and remedial works, ensuring engineers have all the information they need to complete jobs efficiently.
  • Producing accurate quotations for service contracts, renewals, contract uplifts and additional works.
  • Identifying opportunities to promote additional products and services where appropriate.
  • Preparing RAMS and associated service documentation.
  • Ordering parts and raising purchase orders with suppliers.
  • Maintaining accurate customer records, service contracts and CRM information.
  • Producing daily and weekly reports to support the Service team.
  • Assisting with forecasting engineer workloads by monitoring service contracts and upcoming jobs.
  • Working closely with colleagues across multiple departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, has excellent organisational skills, and can confidently manage multiple priorities.

You'll ideally have:

  • Previous administration and account management experience within a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.
  • The ability to prioritise a busy workload and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good IT skills and experience using CRM systems (or the ability to learn new systems quickly).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • A positive, proactive approach and genuine passion for helping customers.

What You'll Receive

  • Competitive salary of £26,000 - £28,000 per annum
  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays increasing with length of service
  • Private Pension
  • Free parking
  • Company social events
