Our client is one of the region's leading specialists in the design, supply, installation, maintenance and repair of industrial compressed air systems. Due to continued growth and increasing customer demand, they are now looking to recruit a Compressor Service Engineer to join their highly skilled engineering team. As a Compressor Service Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out routine servicing, fault finding, breakdown attendance and preventative maintenance on a range of compressed air equipment and systems. You will work closely with customers to diagnose issues, recommend improvements and ensure equipment operates efficiently and reliably. The role will involve both planned maintenance activities and responding to customer breakdowns, alongside completing detailed service reports and remedial work recommendations.

Working as part of a close-knit engineering team, you will be trusted to represent the business professionally whilst delivering first-class technical support to customers. This position offers excellent earning potential through overtime and call-out opportunities, together with genuine prospects for progression as the company continues to expand.

The Candidate

  • Engineering background with proven mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills
  • Experience servicing, maintaining or repairing industrial equipment
  • Engineering qualification (City & Guilds or NVQ) advantageous
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build customer relationships
  • Good report writing and administrative skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence essential
