We're working with a world class specialist in low voltage circuit breakers and electrical distribution equipment, trusted across marine, industrial and commercial building projects globally. They're looking for a Service Engineer to join their field based Service team, covering inspection, maintenance, repair and commissioning of LV switchboards and circuit breakers across the UK, with occasional overseas travel. ✈️

• Diagnosing and fixing electrical faults on LV switchgear and switchboards
• Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across marine and industrial sites &#(phone number removed);
• Writing up clear, detailed service and inspection reports &#(phone number removed);
• Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and wiring diagrams
• Building genuine relationships with customers, becoming a trusted technical point of contact &#(phone number removed);
• Occasionally working on live systems (fully authorised and supported)

✅ What you'll need

• HNC or equivalent in Electrical Engineering
• Proven fault finding and maintenance experience on LV switchgear or distribution equipment
• Strong report writing skills, you'll need to explain technical issues clearly in writing
• Full UK driving licence and a genuine willingness to travel, including occasional overnights
• Marine industry experience is a bonus, not essential
