Elevation Recruitment Group's Engineering Services Division are supporting a well established national business to recruit a Multi Skilled Service & Maintenance Engineer to support their specialist in house asset care division across multiple sites.

The Service & Maintenance Engineer is a critical role within the Asset Care Division and will specialise in large materials handling equipment, including Overhead Cranes, and will be responsible for their preventative maintenance, inspection, fault diagnosis, and repair.

Key Responsibilities for the Service & Maintenance Engineer include:

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on overhead travelling cranes and associated equipment
  • Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults and undertake effective repairs
  • Conduct root cause analysis following equipment failures to prevent recurrence
  • Maximise machinery availability and reliability through proactive maintenance strategies
  • Complete Risk Assessments, Method Statements (RAMS), and Point of Work Risk Assessments and performance data reports

Skills, Experience & Qualifications for the Service & Maintenance role include:

  • Qualification/Apprentice trained Electrical/Mechancial Engineer
  • Strong electrical knowledge and practical experience with overhead cranes
  • Experience working with Konecranes, ABUS, and Demag crane systems
  • Experience working at height and understanding of Health & Safety requirements, including IPAF 3a & 3b
  • Full UK driving licence
